Quick answer
Hang a GOTS certified snowman Christmas stocking in your baby's nursery for a safe, soft, and festive touch. Focus on low-hanging placement and lightweight fillers to keep it baby-friendly.
Why choose a GOTS certified stocking for baby
A GOTS certified stocking means the organic cotton is free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for little hands and mouths. The snowman design adds a playful, nostalgic element without overwhelming the nursery.
Where to hang it for maximum impact
Place the stocking on a low hook or over a crib rail so your baby can see it during tummy time. Avoid high mantels where it might become a climbing hazard later.
How to style your GOTS snowman stocking
- Choose a safe hanging spot: Pick a low hook or a crib rail within baby's line of sight. Avoid high mantels or areas with sharp edges. Check that the hook is secure and out of reach of tiny hands that might tug on the loop.
- Select lightweight, soft fillers: Use a muslin blanket, a soft teether, or a board book instead of heavy toys or candy. Keep items under 2 ounces each. Heavy or hard items can make the stocking swing or fall, so stick to plush, baby-safe objects.
- Rotate the design for variety: Flip the stocking to show the snowman or the gingerbread man depending on your weekly nursery theme or holiday countdown. Wash the stocking gently by hand or on a delicate cycle to keep both sides vibrant.
